Say hi to Jane Doe on the left there. Jane Doe is going to have children - lots of children. To help with this admirable goal I have given her an aspiration of romance (to help pull the guys) with a secondary aspiration of family to hopefully cancel out all those baby related fears. I've also decided that as her LTW is 20 simultaneous lovers all her pregnancies will be by a different Sim.
*note.
Ignore the change in her skintone, this is what happens when you take out you skins folder to update it then forget to put it back in.
And this is her new home, note the tiny, tiny house.
Ah the welcome wagon! Two guys (I got rid of the woman) and look one of them is John Mole LOL. Jane and John, it's fated to be and my John Mole has already repeatedly proved himself in the baby making department!
I just had to include this picture of the Gypsy just to prove that sometimes, very rarely, the randomizer does get it right! Isn't she pretty?
Skipping past all the kiss, cuddle, make-out, make-out, try for a baby stuff and then the 3 days of puking and podding we come to the blessed event. As you can see Jane has decided to forgo the Sims favorite birthing room - the toilet - and has instead chosen the green house surrounded by tomato plants, could this be a new trend?
And here we are. TwoJeffs TTQ hack has decided that it will bless our Welfare Mom, she of the minuscule house and low income, with quads for her very first pregnancy. My joy knows no bounds.
This puts dear old John right up there in the baby daddy stakes with 7 children by his various light skirts and blissfully unaware wife. Can we say Slutty John?

And here the little darlings are. Notice the total lack of blogging on the baby days. No mention of the constant feeding, cuddling, bathing and changing of 4 babies, no pictures of rows of babies surrounded in green fog bawling their lungs out.
You may thank me now.
I'll close with this picture because it is too too cute! Awwww ...

The Rules
This Mini-Challenge was created by CeeCee (thanks CeeCee!)
Her most recent blog can be found here
http://theland-ceecee.blogspot.com/2007_02_13_archive.html
Here is a copy of the Rules.
First - Before you read any further I want to say up-front that this is not a "Politically Correct" challenge. But I still had fun playing it. Hopefully everyone will see the humor that was intended and not take offense.
Now for the second part of the disclaimer... This is a variation of the 5-generation Single Mom Challenge by Cl6e7 which can be found here -http://bbs.thesims2.ea.com/community/bbs/messages.php?&openItemID=item.82,root.1,item.43,item.61,item.23&threadID=292122709a3db7575f3dd51d711d5202&directoryID=82&startRow=1
So without further delay, I introduce you to the...
Welfare Mom Challenge -
Because this is the Welfare Mom (WM) challenge, you may not marry/move anybody into the family. If anyone moves into the household the challenge is over. This is a one-generation challenge. Once all children reach YA or Adult the challenge is over.
Hacks - You will need either the Child Support hack from MTS2 or, if you do not want to have a global hack, you will need the Social Security Recipient (SSR) career from InSim. NOTE: You cannot use both options however. Just one or the other.
Child Support Hack - http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=163933
SSR Career - http://www.insimenator.net/showthread.php?t=22809
I have no problem with any hack or hacked item which makes sense. Mood enhancing pictures, mirrors, plants, etc. would not be allowed. Throwing a blanket on the floor for a child to take a nap on makes sense. Toddler/infant blankets are allowable. http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?p=1530815#post1530815
Here are the rules -
Starting Out You may start on any sized lot, but small will do better, as you will have more money to begin with. **See note at end of rules regarding housing alternatives.
The only job available to your WM is the SSR career. Your adult isn't forced to get a job, but remember that you will have no income unless you have the Child Support hack or plan to rely entirely on Dream Date gifts.
You will lose points for every child taken away by the Social Worker.
All gifts from suitors must be sold immediately.
The only gift that can be kept is one expensive telescope. How else will you get your child (or yourself) on Jerry Simmer?
WM cannot hire maid, nanny or gardener. Exception - If using SSR career, Nanny can only be used to watch infant/toddler on the one day a week WM goes to collect payments.
Single Mom Scoring -
+1 point for each child by a different NPC (twins only count for 1 point)Cheesecake is allowed if you really want to add to the chaos of the household. But again, the birth of the twins only adds 1 point as mentioned above.
Toddler Scoring -
+1 point if toddler learns to walk, talk, and is potty trained before transition
+1/4 point per skill point a toddler earns. (charisma, logic, and creativity)
+1 point for each toddler that grows up well (read the parents memories.)
-1/2 point for every child that grows up badly
Child Scoring -
+1/2 point for every child with A+ report card. (Maximum 1 point per child)
+1/2 for every friend (outside the family) each child makes
+2 points for every skill maxed as a child
+1 point for every child that grows up well
-1/2 point for every child that grows up badly
-1 point every time a child is taken away by the Social Worker
Teen Scoring -
When the children turn into a teen, roll to determine their aspiration.
Only Fortune and Knowledge Sims are allowed to get teen jobs. They are also the only children with a chance to go to University.
Teen Sims cannot leave for University unless the have earned at least 5 (five) scholarships.
Fortune & Knowledge Teens only -
+1 point for every overachiever (Top level teen job, A+ report card)
+1 point for every skill maxed
+1 point for earning 5 scholarships
+1/2 point for each scholarship earned over 5
+1 point for each child accepted into private school
Romance & Pleasure Teens only -
+1/2 point for every teen going steady
+1 point for each teen who make outs out with different NPC/Townie's.
*Example- Siblings A & B both make out with Alon = 2 points. But sibling A makes out with Alon twice = 1 point
All Teen Sims -
+1 point for every abduction
+3 points for each teen with over 5 best friends (not includingfamily members)
+1 point if the teen grows up well
-1/2 point each time a teen drops into aspiration failure
-1/2 point if the teen grows up badly
-1 points if a teen runs away
-1 point for every enemy a teen makes
Once all children reach YA or Adult the challenge is over.
Enjoy yourself. Ultimately, isn't that the goal of all challenges?
